FIRST MEETING

3-5 June 2022

Vänersborg Municipality (SE)

The first meeting of the project took place in Vänersborg from the 3rd to the 5th of June.

The partners worked on the  Project Result 1: 𝗠𝗮𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀. Indeed we presented and analysed the results of the survey launched in the past months in the partner countries to identify the training needs in terms of knowledge and skills related to sustainable tourism.
From the analysis partners started planning the first seminar of the project, which will take place in Cervia in autumn involving the stakeholders and the contents of the 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 – Project result 2.

FIRST seminar

4-6 October 2022

Cervia Municipality (IT)

📣 First seminar of the UPREST Project

⚡️From Tuesday 4 October to Thursday 6 October the UPREST Partners met in Cervia for the first seminar of the project.

🎯The 3-day seminar was functional to the development of the project results and provided an important opportunity to:
–  learn about the different local contexts and ecosystems of the partner organisations;
– define the training needs at local level in order to develop the training package (PR2).
The participants, split in thematic groups, conducted a GAP Analysis to define the current and future state of the use of digital tools, identifying at the same time which remedies apply. Two visit studies were carried out, in the cities of Ravenna and Cervia.

second meeting

14-16 June 2023

Opatija (HR)

📢 Second Face-to-Face Meeting of Erasmus+ Project UPREST

📅 From Wednesday 14 to Friday 16 of June 2023, the second project meeting took place in Opatija hosted by Visit Kvarner.
The project aims to enhance the digital skills of stakeholders in the sustainable tourism sector while fostering innovative learning pathways to contribute to the sector’s recovery.
🧩The meeting provided an opportunity to present the first project results, the Map of the Local Training Needs, which identifies the specific areas where actors in sustainable tourism can benefit from further skill development.
💡By pinpointing these needs, led by the Högskolan Väst, we are now developing the Training Package designed to equip tourism professionals with the necessary digital competencies and knowledge to thrive in today’s digital landscape.
📌It will be tested during the second project seminar in September in Trollhättan with more than 30 stakeholders from Italy, Sweden and Croatia.
⚡Additionally, the meeting in Opatija proved to be a valuable opportunity for collaborative work and gaining insights into the local ecosystem of Croatia.
The rich cultural heritage and vibrant tourism industry of Croatia provided an ideal setting to understand the challenges and opportunities within the country. Through active participation and exchange of ideas, our project partners had the chance to forge new connections and strengthen existing relationships, fostering a sense of unity and cooperation.
